There was an 18 year old boy who attends Wabash College, an all boys college that died recently after a very heavy night of drinking.  However, I think it's wrong to blame the college for this kid's decision to drink himself to death.  When a high school student overdoses at school, it's not the school that gets blamed, it's the kid's fault.  The campuses know what goes on at these fraternity houses, and I doubt any difference will be made, unless they ban alcohol in fraternities across the nation.

Make it illegal to be in possession of alcohol on campus, illegal to be under the influence of alcohol on campus... and yes alcohol consumption will decrease.  However it's not the college's responsibility to get law enforcement involved, reduce alcohol sales, and use taxpayers money to pay for these bills to be passed.  If an eighteen year old isn't mature enough to handle their alcohol, then the parents shouldn't be paying for them to be in a fraternity.  And it's not an option to take away the fraternities, the schools make too much money from it.  75% of politicians and presidents in the past have been fraternity brothers.
To have more, become more.

Even if it was illegal and zero tolerance policy for teens to have alcohol in fraternities its not like its actually going to stop them. It's illegal for teens to drink period, but they still do. Alcohol abuse by teens will never end. Its really unfortunate that one died from overdose though. But your right its not the university or the fraternity that should be blamed its the teens fault he should've been more cautious about his limit.

The school shouldn't be blamed for it at all. I'm sure they weren't encouraging his drinking and teachers and administrators weren't handing him a bottle of beer and telling him to drink up! Its the kids fault, no body elses. He went above his limit and drank too much, it happens, its happened to a lot of people.
