People really find the weirdest ways to smuggle drugs. I’ve heard of a guy eating heroin packets, people putting weed in peanut butter jars, heroin in a baseball bat, but this one really cat my eye. A canadian driving across the border smuggled 50,000 ecstacy pills in his tire! Border officers found the drugs after using a device to measure the density of the spare tire on the minivan. The driver told the jurors that he was just visiting detroit to buy parts of the van. He says he didn’t know the pills were in there.

Wow what a crazy way to smuggle drugs!  But his story doesn't make very much sense.  First of all, if he were that conscience about his van having good, working parts, enough to trek across the country to get them, then I'm sure he would've made sure his spare tire was working. 

Who would go into his spare tire and fill it up with pills coincidentally the same time he was crossing the border? Its obvious it was him!
