Life clean from drugs and alcohol is so promising, it's being free of addiction and true joy. However, the first year free of drug dependency can be soooo emotional. My experience so far is that we go through things.......that's just it. It is what it is. The thing with being sober is that we tend to feel things more than ever. It's not always a lot of fun but the more I go through it, the easier it gets.
Generally if I don't know exactly what it is that's bothering me I take some quiet time to think about what's going on in my life. It doesn't take long to figure it out and I usually find some peace in knowing my own answer.

This is part of the reason why it's important to let others know what you're going through. Especially those of the same sex who are also in recovery. They've been though and gotten through it, so you can too. =)

Although now that your sober and your feeling all these horrible feelings which you didn't when you were on drugs, its still better than not feeling alone. I read this quote on this site and it is actually very true, "Your worst day sober is always better than your best day high"
I agree with the comment above me that telling a friend about your problems helps a lot, they may be able to relate to you and can help you handle things and advise you some very good things also.
