In West Virginia they created a 24-hour state-wide prescription drug abuse hot line. It’s supposed to both direct addicts to available treatment and gathers data on the extent of the problem. The funding is provided by the makers of OxyContin.  A doctor said he helped 67 patients for treatment yesterday, all prescription opiod. It affects everybody, rich poor, all races and genders. And West Virginia has the worst problems with prescription drugs. The hotline number is 1-866-WVQUITT. 

This is a really good idea, I'm sure it'll benefit a lot of addicts who are lost.  I always wondered why the makers of Oxycontin weren't taking responsibility for the damage they've done to much of society.  It seems Oxy addicts had an unlimited supply of the drug and the makers of Oxycontin had an unlimited supply of money coming in. 
Just like certain products used for manufacturing meth, it's the responsibility of the companies to take action and limit their products, regardless of the profits they're missing out on.
