Have any of you guys watched that movie on Disney Chanel called The Cheetah Girls? Dancers are always portrayed to be super skinny and many people laugh at dancers that aren’t. I’m guilty of that myself. But I watched this movie and the girls in it are dancers and singers and they are not skinny at all. In fact they don’t even look average. I think its really good that they didn’t pick out girls who were super skinny. Especially on a Disney movie. Many little girls dream of being celebrities but sometimes they think their weight gets in the way, and this could in the future lead to an eating disorder. That’s not very good.

I've seen commercials for this movie. The girls sing and dance and the go to like spain and now india? And your right they're not skinny at all. I think its good they didn't pick out skinny girls because so many little girls have those dreams and they could develop eating disorders because they want to be just like those super skinny celebrities.

Miley cyrus is probably the biggest Disney star right now and she's soo skinny.  I know she's only thirteen and is naturally thin, but that could send the wrong message too.

Thats just the way she is though. Thats so Raven is a big show on Disney channel too and Raven is fat! I don't think they picked out miley purposely because she's skinny. But I like how Raven isn't thin and yet everyone loves her.
