More people than we realize are guilty of taking their pdas to bed, emailing and texting throughout the night.  This habit can be a big contributor to Internet dependance or addiction.  It's important to set apart time in the day for emailing and seperate time shared with your spouse and loved ones.

I know a ton of people that can't separate themselves from their Blackberry’s, Treo’s and iPhones. It is sad and it does make them isolate themselves from their families and time spent together. I just recently got the iPod Touch which gets internet where there is a wireless connection and I have that at my house and now I spend a lot of down time on it and surf the web and play games instead of spending time with my loved ones.

I do this a lot. And I keep my cell underneath my pillow. So whenever I get an email I feel it and whenever I get a text I get to reply back right away. I even get up sometimes in the middle of the night and just refress the page to my facebook to see what I have thats new.

Thats the first thing I do when I wake up. I check my email and my facebook. It's like my morning coffee, I feel more awake right after.

I have my email open at all times throughout the day and get notifications when I get a new message or email. It makes me stay always connected and up to date. Recently I also started checking news sites quite often, which drive my friends nuts because I ignore them and concentrate on my phone.

I'm actually not that big on checking my emails. I can probably go about a week without any internet. However its my texting habit that I have a problem with. I will text all throughout the night. Even if im like half asleep i'll still text.

I think a majority of the people have a problem with checking their emails, facebooks, myspace, whatever as soon as they wake up. And I'm not just saying this because I'm one of them. I sign on every morning as soon as I wake up, but, everytime I do sign on I've noticed that so many of my friends also sign on to check their facebooks in the morning. A majority checks it right before work.
