Hey just letting you guys all know that September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month! This year's theme is "Real people, real recovery." Look in your area to see if there are any events you can attend.

I think it's really great that they have a whole month dedicated to this. Addicts need all the support they can get. But I think they just need to make it a bigger deal! I mean look at black history month at that time theres so many things on TV about it, at school kids do projects for it all those things. They should make this month more of a big deal.

I think some parents would rather shelter their kids from this rather than celebrating with us. You have to know more about addiction to appreciate the recovered.
