Have any of you guys heard about this? This drug was made to help people with their drug addiction, but researchers are finding that it is also helping people with weight loss. They did a study on rats that were genetically bred to be obese and they found that loss 19% of their total weight after 40 days. They believe it acts as if food were a drug by blocking your cravings.

This is really interesting... they lost 19% of their weight, that's amazing.  I think there needs to be more tests done before we can take this drug into serious consideration, but it can give hope for millions of obese people.  In many states, the obesity rates are still increasing every year.

If it makes you lose that much weight I dont think it should be given to all addicts though. Some addicts are really super skinny because the drugs makes them that way. Being even more skinny can be really dangerous.

Yeah that would be really unhealthy. And their bodies are probably already weak because of how much drugs they're intaking.

Crystal meth and cocaine make a person really skinny. I dont think this drug would be a wise decision for them.
