This story astounded me. A mother of a five year old girl was driving drunk while she was 4 times the legal limit.  A pedestrian walking in the street saw the terrified 5 year old girl desperately pleading for help. She saw the car swerve and then noticed the child banging on the back window and shouting “Stop mommy driving! Stop Mommy driving!” the pedestrian ran towards the car which had stopped and opened the back door and took the child out and was shouting at the driver to stop but she continued driving in an erratic manner. She then careered over the road, drove onto the pavement then hit a fence outside a nursing home. She got out of the car and staggered across the street into a lamppost. She has been sentenced to 80 days in jail and a three year driving ban. But she says she is very remorseful and will never drive again.

I think it’s better for her to be remorseful and never drink again not just drive! She could’ve killed herself, her daughter, other drivers or pedestrians. Especially when your kid is crying begging you to stop driving how could she just block that out!!!

That's so sad, poor little girl was smart to scream at anyone closeby for help.  Hopefully her mother never drinks again, she obviously can't handle her alcohol.
