So I decided to go to a meeting a few days ago.  The SAA meeting place ended up being at a church around the corner from my work!  I was so reluctant to walk in, I had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke just to get through the door, where I almost ran in the other direction.  I walked in and realized I was the only girl there.  I sat right next to the door, in case of a quick getaway.  The meeting took place in the dark, which was okay since that's the mindset I've been in for months now.  I felt someone staring at me during the meeting and noticed a guy repeatedly looking at me then looking away, it creeped me out.  After the meeting was over I pretty much ran out the door and as the staring guy approached me, he said my story was pretty amazing and my story about being addicted to fantasies and not loving my life woke him up a bit. He thanked me and walked off.  In the meeting when it was my turn to talk, it all came to me but I couldn't find the words.  I told them I was a hypno sex addict and I'd love to spend most of my days at home listening to MP3, brainwashed.. but it wasn't until I had a totally awesome day in the city with friends, went to a nice park, watching a movie outdoors and having an all around good time.  THAT was living.  And I would've missed it all if I had gone home and tranced out. 

What exactly is a hypnotic sex addict?

Being hypnotized is like being in a trance where you don't know everything going on.  It's like sleep walking.  Basically you're able to escape from reality.  I checked it out on the Internet and there's a lot of programs and recordings that  you can use at home to trance out.

I had a friend who was obsessed with hypnotism.  She was always trying to get me to do it with her.  She was a little quirky, she also liked getting her fortune read.  The mind was really interesting to her.  But to become obsessed with something like hypnotism isn't a good thing.  Spending hours in a trance and in a different world isn't productive and she was just different after a while.

I dont really get the point of hypnotism. How can it be enjoyable? I think itd be cool to get hypnotized like once to see how it is but to do it all the time? I dont know but I dont really find whats so fun about that. 

I had a friend who use to be really into hypnotism, an they would do it a lot.  It's pretty eerie, they don't know exactly what's going on and they can hardly remember anything after they snap out of it.  But I guess it's sort of like meditation, some use it to clear their thoughts or to just escape from reality.

I think it would be cool to get hypnotized like once, just to see what its like. It's interesting how your mind can do that. I find that amazing. But I dont think I would ever become addicted to it. Its better to enjoy life not be phazed out of it.

Does hypnotic/sex addict involves some sort of enhancements? e.g drugs, alcohol?

Some visuals I can kinda understand, but music alone can't possibly hypnotize someone completely to a point where they can't remember anything, or can it? I'm no expert on this matter so please do enlighten me.
