I knew this girl in high school and I would really never ever see her without an iPod in her ear. She used to get in trouble so much because they aren’t allowed in class but she would still find a way to hide it. And when she gets them taken away she’s still singing and tapping her foot and dancing. She never stopped listening to music. She was addicted to her iPod. I saw her on accident a few days ago in the mall she’s still listening to her iPod and dancing while she was walking. I wonder how the heck does she not get sick of that thing, how can she not get sick of the songs on there too!
 

I'm not really sure that that is an addiction. She probably can just focus more or longer while listening to her ipod. I know people like that as well. They carry their ipods everywhere they go. I think it may be like when you work out you can work out usually longer and harder when you are listening to music.

I think it could be an addiction. Just like how some peopel are addicted to the TV. I have a friend whos like this too she says, “I feel uncomfortable when it’s quiet. It’s like silence is deafening.”
But the iPod addiction can also be bad for you and could lead to hearing loss. Thats what happened with a lot of people during the walkman addiction era.

I know a guy like this too. Except he doesn't dance he raps was he's walking and he nods his head and his headphones are ALLWAAYS on!

I think my math teacher has an iPod addiction. He walks in the class with both headphones on and then teaches the whole time with one in his ear. I was tlaking to him and he said he keeps 2 ipods with him at all times and he's already had to replace both of them 3 times. He has the 60 gb one, and he said he has to keep shuffeling music because its not enough room. I thought that was crazy!!!! And he buys all his music. He said he spends around $80-$90 a month on music!

I knew a guy who download  over 9,000 songs on his computer! He would constantly listen to music and had 3 different ipods in his car, one for rap one for slow songs and one for everything else. I thought this was insane! I would just get sick of music!!

I dont understand why he doesn't just download his music!
