If its heroin, your going to need some help. Heroin and Alcohol are one of the only drugs that your body starts needing, and you start having complications and extremely bad withdrawals by quitting alone. I think going to a treatment center and getting treated and help will be the wisest way to get sober.

Teetigers right, I think your best solution is going to therapy. You need to stay away from the drugs but also helath personels there to make sure your body stays stable.

you need to get detoxified first. Then you can take the next step and never touch it again!!!

Heroin withdrawals can be extremely painful so you need to be detoxed, it will help out a lot.  Also you need to go to your family and closest friends and get support.  Addiction is a lot harder to get through on your own.

heroin is one of the hardest addictions to beat. I dont think you'll be able to do it on your own. try getting as much help as possible, friends family, and join a treatment center. Before taking the steps to quitting you need to be detoxified and I also suggest getting help while you go through the withdrawals because those are going to be horrible. But you can survive it and you can live a sober life, an amazing sober life. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger so kill this addiction before it kills you.

I think with heroin you cant just stop, you're going to have to get methadone perscribed and be monitored while you take it so you dont get an addiction to that too. Heroin addiction is a tough one to beat. I totally believe you could do it but your going to need a lot of support!

Many people do end up getting addicted to methadone after recovery so be really careful with that. Have you joined a support group anything of that sort?
