More women than ever before are becoming obsessive with their bodies and weight after getting pregnant.  They become extremely fearful of gaining too much weight and not being able to shed off the pounds. With all of the celebrity moms who appear to shed off their weight within weeks are influencing expectant moms.  Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman recently gave birth to their babies are are already back to their normal selves.  This is sometimes unrealistic for most people because they don't have the resources to hire a personal trainer to help them drop the weight in a healthy way.

Mother's of average weight are advised to gain 25-35 pounds during pregnancy.  If you're overweight, you should aim for the lower end of that range, and if you're underweight before pregnancy you, should gain between 28-40 pounds. Moms of twins my gain 45 or more. Exercise can also become a matter of too much of a good thing for expectant mothers. There are many benefits from exercising during pregnancy such as better mental and physical health, even postpardum recoveries and better deliveries too.  But, you don't want to overdo it. You never want to exercise to the point where ... you're not getting enough oxygen, because that's linked with neurological defects in the baby.  You shouldn't exercise to the point of exhaustion. If you need to throw yourself on the couch afterwards just to rejuvenate, you've done too much. You should feel invigorated after your workout, not exhausted. But 30 minutes of moderate cardiovascular activity four days-a-week is the minimum.

Also, worrying about your weight and exercising is going to put stress on your body and in your head.  Stress is one of the most unhealthiest things to have when pregnant, especially for your baby's growth and development.

I hadn't even thought of this before. I think not only exercise is good, but eating right. I think a lot of times when women get pregnant they get cravings and it's not always the healthiest foods. Even if you can't afford a trainer, just make sure your husband or a grandparent can watch your new baby for a little bit each day to give yourself some personal time to work out or even relax and make sure to catch up on some much needed sleep.
