Stressful Dreams

Am I the only person who has dreams about things that they stress about? Sometimes i fall asleep thinking about my day and normal things and then at night I dream about things in the day that could've went wrong. It's nothing tragic, but they're just frustrating situations that are played out in my dreams. I can't get over it either, like I stress enough during the day, why can't it just go away while I'm sleeping??

This happens to me also. Like in high school I was taking an online class and it was sooo hard! They assigned us so much homework that I basically couldn't do anything but homework and I couldn't even concentrate on my other classes because of how much homework I'd get. I'd have nightmares that my teacher would call me up and tell me I'm failing. And I'd get the dream so much! I just quit that class and took it before school started. But I'd also have nightmares like that bout other problems in my life, like relationships or parents stuff like that. I hate it. But I've noticed I also get a lot of these nightmares if I take a medication before I fall asleep.

I think she's talking about cold medicine. It's known to make you delirious so you have the strangest dreams when you sleep too. I never have a peaceful dream when I'm sick because of that.

Cold medicine makes me have weird weird dreams and it wont be just one weird dream its a bunch of them. Everytime I wake up for like a second and fall back asleep I get another strange dream. But when I wake up Im wide awake and aware throughout the rest of the day because I got so much sleep.

You are not alone. I, along with many other people, have dreams that are stressful. So often mine end ugly (deaths, traumatic experiences, etc.). I'm not sure if that means we are stressed in general. I do go to bed thinking about things that went bad that day that I could have fixed. It's really nothing we can do about it.
