My father has just started getting sober. He's been an alcoholic for 7 years and its tough on all of us. He decided to never touch the bottle 3 days ago and we didn't think he would last even till the night but it has been three days and hes doing great!! he's not the most cheerful person in the world and he is going through a lot of pain but now we all believe in him and believe he will make it through. We are all praying for him and hoping for your support also. Thanks.

That's so great to hear, I bet you're really proud of him. I have alcoholism in my family and i know from experience that alcohol can be a hard habit to kick. Especially when you've been doing it for 7 years like your dad. Let him know how proud of you are of him and how good his health will improve.

Wow thats really great! I bet the family gets along better now that hes sober huh? My uncle got sober about 3 years ago and his family was so happy, they had so much more family vacations and things like that. They were so happy and I hope its the same with your family.
