This guy in Raleigh was using his new push cart idea called "Blow This". It costs $5 and will give you your alcohol blood level telling you whether you are able to drive or should call a taxi or a friend. What do you guys think about this? It's a good idea because I would much rather pay $5 than whatever it costs when you get a DUI, but if you are that intoxicated are you really using common sense to have this done???

It's a good idea.  It promotes safe drinking practices lol...  I heard about these cell phones in China and they have breathelizers built in.  I think they should have these in the US because everyone has a cell phone and people would be more likely to use it.  There's no real way to tell whether you're too drunk to drive.  Some people will try to walk a straigt line but some people can't even do that properly when they're sober :P

thats funny. i wonder if they are just testing it out there and then maybe making more carts for around the country. its a good idea if people think to do it. i wonder what happens if they test positive..do they take their keys and call a taxi haha or just let them go off??

I think they should have these booths for free.  It would probably save a lot of lives if you think about it.  Many drinkers get use to having a few drinks and driving home.  But once in a while they'll have an extra drink and end up killing someone.  If all bars had these tests then drinking would be a lot safer.
