They arrested a man in Rhode Island who was driving drunk, when realistically, he should have been dead! Stanley Kobierowski is 34 years old and one night this week drove drunk and hit his car into an electronic message sign. Police took to Breathalyzer tests, which read a .489 and the other .491. That is 6x the legal limit in that state and his test was the highest they have had in the state. He was taken to the hospital for 2 days for him to get sober. The all time high level was an 130 pound female who got arrested in Oregon for have a blood alcohol level of .55, 7X the legal limit in that state! Doctors said she should have been dead. This is ridiculous. They must have been so drunk and they decided to get into their cars and drive home or wherever. They aren't only hurting themselves; they are hurting their families and innocent bystanders.

These people with the record high blood alcohol levels must have been by themselves when getting behind the wheel. No one in their right mind would let a sloppy, stumbling drunk person get behind the wheel of a car and drive away. And yes, ridiculous is the right word to describe these people. Killing someone and going to jail for twenty years isn't worth it. Why can't they just call a taxi or a friend??

Wow, that is a super high alcohol blood level. They should get jail time for that. It seems like more and more cities are taking extra precaution with drinking and driving to try and help stop it.
