Kate Moss, who seems to always have a cigarette in hand, has publically admitted that she refuses to quit smoking.  She's been modeling for over 20 years and is starting her own fashion line, but can't seem to find it in herself to quit.  She claims "It's who she is and doesn't want to seem phony."  I think this is a terrible excuse, and she's setting a bad example to her fans and to other models.  Celebrities who openly admit to addiction are sabotaging other's aspirations of making an impact on nicotine addiction. 

She's also been linked to doing drugs like cocaine, and yah remains addicted to cigarettes.  Part of her image is grungy, druggy, emaciated sometimes.  She's not a model like tyra banks who is generally healthy and high spirited.  I get what she's saying about part of who she is, but how she models and appears in print ads and magezines doesn't necessarily have to play into her life 100 percent.
