Anyone who takes xanax be careful. More and more studies are coming out saying how addictive the medicine can be. The medicine is supposed to be taken for anxiety and other types of purposes and people who are taking it are finding that if they miss one day they have withdrawals like a full blown addiction. This medicine is very dangerous and unfortunately can be found in many people's medicine cabinet.

If used for the right reasons, it can help a lot of people.  Anxiety can be really hard to live with.  But you're right, just like any prescription drug it can be dangerous if abused.  A friend of mine uses it once in a while and the next morning he can't remember anything from the night before.  Usually he's just at home when he takes it, but it's a really powerful drug.

Yeah for any drug you need to be careful and take it in moderation because it is so easy to get addicted to prescription drugs.

Its not really a buzz it is a melting sort of feeling. I would feel like I had just melted and blended in with the air around me. I don't know how else to describe it. It was instant-calm and no feeling whatsoever. Of course, when the Xanax wears off and you feel again, you are anything but calm, your senses go into overdrive and you develop superhero level abilities to for example, hearing. Everything is amplified from sound to light and it is very unpleasant.

I've had to take xanax a few times for anxiety and I've tried taking a few together to feel the high that a bunch of people complain is addictive. I didn't feel anything. I dont see how its addictive at all except for the fact of it helping with anxiety.

You probably didn't take enough. But some people just dont enjoy the high of xanax either. There's actually many high's that some dont enjoy. I know a few people who hate the feeling of being high. And some who love it. And some who really enjoy painkillers and others who feel sick from it. Everyone is different I guess.
