I think something I need to do to stop over shopping is using cash or my debit card instead of credit. I do this all the time and really if I can't afford it at the time of the purchase, I shouldn't buy it at all.

I think credit cards should only be used for emergencies, a lot of people get in the habit of just swiping here there, everywhere as if it were free money. And then at the end of the month they get stuck with a huge bill, not even remembering all of the purchases. A credit card is a huge responsibility, which can be abused too easily. Even my parents are guilty of this and a friend of mine even bought a boat with a credit card and of course regrets it now.

I try to stay away from malls, I shop waaaaaay too much when I go to the malls and I lose control. But lately I've been holding my self back from going thre and I dont really feel the need to go. I go once every month or two and I think thats good
