How old were you when you first tried a cigarette and did you continue to smoke since then or did you try it and quit. Also what made you try it?

I was 12 when I first tried it and I never liked it. The first puff gave me a high but after that i didn't like it anymore.

A lot of my friends tried smoking cigarettes in 8th-10th grade and most of them only tried it once, but others still smoke to this day

Ive noticed that the ones who tried it and also have parents who smoke at home ended up continuing smoking and developing a habit. But the ones who dont have parents who smoke at home just tried it a few times and that was it.
