They are trying new cigarette ban that would ban the sales of tobacco in pharmacies like Walgreens. They are also trying to pass a law that would prohibit smoking in taxis, rental cars, government cars and even farmers markets. Another place trying to do something about smoking. This is good. It's going to get harder for smokers to smoke and maybe quit altogether.

I think when they ban smoking they are not only helping out the non-smokers but also may be helping the smokers quit. When a smoker is not surrounded by smoke it makes it a lot easier to quit.

I hope they pass these bans! I hate the smell of smoke its so gross. But I also think it would help smokers quit. When a smoker sees smoke it makes them want to smoke which makes more smoke!
