sexual harassment in the workplace

I bet this happens way more than we realize and it's happening more and more too male employees. From a random phone interview 20% of males said they felt like they were harassed in the workplace and 65% of them didn't report it. What do you think makes people harass others sexually? Could this be an addiction just like watching porn, but in a different form?

I think some people simply weren't taught office courtesy and boundaries in the workplace.  Not only is our body language important, but the words we use too.  Flirting is one thing, but continuous flirting makes others around the workplace uncomfortable.  Some of my friends will do things that I would never do.  I ususally tell them something, letting them know so they don't end up offending someone else or embarrassing themselves.

maybe they are lacking the right kind of affection or not getting it from the right places so they take it out on other people who they find to be weak or easy prey.

Maybe these people are just promiscious like that and they dont get that its not allowed in the work place. That at work its required to be serious about everything and everything has its consequences. I think some people just really dont get it. I dont think they do it purposely.
