Infant anorexia has only been explored a little bit in these recent years. There's signs/symptoms like low birth weight, severe malnutrition, refusal to eat, distraction during eating, ect. If your baby really does have this, you need to team up with a good doctor to see what's really going on and how you can fix it. Your baby's growth could be affected, along with his development. I'm sorry you're going through this, it sounds very stressful, just remember that your baby loves you and you should do all you can to make sure it's healthy.

Crazy, I have never heard of this before. I don't see how a baby knows not to eat to lose weight and stuff.

I've heard about this before, it's really weird. The disorder is basically when your baby has an unhealthy relationship with food. Maybe you should switch the food he's eating, make sure it actually tastes good as well as healthy. Also, monitor the environment you're feeding your child in. I can hardly eat in loud restaurants, your baby is probably the same way.
