a pro marijuana group is trying to make it legal to smoke weed in airport smoking lounges across the country. they feel like it is a safer way to calm down before an airplane ride compared to drinking alcohol. i think this is weird though because isn't it illegal to smoke weed anyways? i'm confused! has anyone else heard about this?

That's ridiculous, it'll never happen lol. People would get too high and miss their flights, it would make a lot of people mad. Most people don't even agree with smoking weed, and you can't smoke cigarettes inside, so why would you be allowed to smoke weed?

I believe that it is already legal to smoke marijuana in Denver. I think they can carry like an ounce on them or something like that. I guess there was a drunk passenger causes problems there so now they are trying to find a new solution to help people relax, but not get crazy. I think it's a bad idea personally..

I don't think this is a good idea. It could impair people on their flight to make decision and if it is legal in Denver what about if you arrive in another city still stoned?
