The whole Bible can be summed up in two statements:
1) Cheer up! You're a lot worse than you think you are.
2) Cheer up! God's grace is a lot bigger than you think it is.

The most difficult lie I have ever contended with is this: Life is a story about me.

Have you realized that most of your unhappiness in life is due to the fact that you are listening to yourself instead of talking to yourself?

The tragedy is not that the Questions have no answers, but that we have become too busy to ask them.

Get even is the law of the jungle, Give grace is the law of the Kingdom.

Jesus loves us as we are and not as we should be, since none of us is as we should be.

This one helps me everyday:

* I asked God to spare me pain.
God said "No", Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.

That is so true. I think the majority of people who get saved are the ones who are suffering and in pain. It seems to be that the people who have money, nice jobs, clothes, a home, nice cars and so on don't see the reason to need God because they already have it all. It is during those lowest times in life when we seek God's grace and forgiveness. But remember even if you aren't struggling in life, PEOPLE NEED THE LORD!

Just like how a hungry lion seeks out the weakest, most vulnerable buffalo, the devil seeks out the weakest Christians.  So we need to stay strong and continue to ask for forgiveness so that we are not living in sin.  With constant prayer and being in church, we can remain strong and focused on God.
