Which is More Embarrassing?

A study in the Boston Globe found that people would be more embarrassed if they had a gaming addiction than a porn addiction! I guess it could be embarrassing, but I think I would be more embarrassed if I had a porn addiction. What do you guys think?

It seems like porn is more accepted in our society. People may feel funny about discussing their finances, and if someone has a gambling addiction, then obviously they are struggling with money too.

To me, a porn addiction would be a lot more embarassing. Ususally people hide their porn viewing in the first place, so why would they be more open to talking about it, even more so than video game addiction...?

yeah, I see both sides. Porn is a little more excepted and people might feel dumb saying they have a video game addiction..hmm good question.

I think the same goes for Internet addiction too, there's a bigger stereotype for Internet addicts, generally nerdy people that spend most of their lives indoors behind a computer like a hermit. But porn addiction affects a wider range of people, so there's less of a stereotype to be felt when discussing it I guess.
