Henry Nicolas III, founder and CEO of Broadcom was videotaped recently doing drugs.  He is facing prison terms, house arrest, and probation.  Many people are saying that he's lost control of his life.  I'm not sure if I agree with this.  If someone decides to start taking drugs, have they completely lost control of their life?  I can't exactly reflect on this yet, I'm not exactly recovered.

Lol random question... I think that if someone can't face the fact that they need help and it's completely obvious that they're on drugs, then yeah, they've lost control of their lives.  Or better stated, addiction is controlling their lives.

I don't think that when they decide to take drugs they have lost control, I think it's when you become addicted and rely on that substance to survive. When you can't go without it and depend on it I believe you have lost control.
