Strip club raids put dancers in a bind
Strip club raids put dancers in a bind

Police have been cracking down on strip clubs in LA that have been suspected of prostituting. Unfortunately, this is putting dancers and other employees in a bind because they now have no way of paying rent/tuition. I've always felt that stripping/dancing for money was a trashy thing, but it seems like most of the girls are just trying to make quick money to support their families. I don't have any sympathy for the girls who are prostituting themselves and taking away customers from businesses where they are strict about no touching. What are your opinions on this?

I saw a mom on Oprah that was talking about how it's made her life so much better. She's a single mom and only has to work a few hours a day, but she is there for her kids the morning they wake up, and is a really good mom. She said when she was working, she was never home and still didn't have enough money to pay the bills. And a lot of the girls stripping are doing it to work their way through school.
