Does anyone else here have a phobia of anything in particular? My friend Cameron has almost stopped talking to me because I got a pit bull and he's deathly afraid of dogs. When he was younger he got attacked twice by dogs. And one time he almost had a panick attack because my friend had a wolf mask and scared him LOL. But seriously, is it something you can get over? My bro's girlfriend is deathly scared of frogs, it's weird she fainted one time because she saw a toad!

There's actually a lot of people that are very scared of big dogs, but it's something they have to get over themselves, and he may never. There's ways around it though, you're not always going to have your dog with you. But if you have a pit bull, which are already stereotyped pretty badly, I'd suggest you take extra caution around other people and kids.
To have more, become more.

I'm so scared to throw up.(Emetophobia).. I sit and pray and cry untill my nausia goes away. And when I see a person throw up I have to get out of the room and i still cry. I dont know what caused me to be like this but I've been this way since ever since I could remember.
I saw a movie once in psychology where they scared a 2 year old with a bunny, the kid is now 24 years old and still deathly afraid of bunnies. Its subcontious and many people have fears of these things and its hard to get over. I dont think your friend will ever be a dog loving person if he was attacked by a dog when he was younger. its just something hes going to be afraid of for life. He might be able to learn to be around a dog but I'm sure if the dog got close to him he'd be really scared.I know a lot of people who are afraid of cats, i dont get why!

I've noticed that people also fear all the same things that their parents fear. My friend is deathly afraid of cats. I have 2 and they're not even playful cats they run away from everyone they dont know. Well her daughter is the same exact way. She's also deathly afraid of cats and they run away from them and scream everytime they come around. Also my aunt is so scared of getting sick. She sits and prays night and day for God to keep sickness away from her. She'll get paranoid of anything in her body, if she feels something weird on her chest she'll run to the doctor right away. She saw her doctor once at the mall and ran after him all the way to the parking lot to ask him about "a lump" she had. She's just completely paranoid, and all 3 of her kids are the exact same way.
