Your Defenition of Addiction....

I'm sure a lot of us have different view on what an addiction is. But the first step to beating a problem is identifying it, you can't fix what you don't acknowledge, right?
- So I feel like when something causes repeated problems in my life and I choose to continue it rather than changing my behavior, I am probably addicted.
Some people believe that an addiction is simply a neurological condition, but I feel like it's so much more than that. You cannot fix an addiction with a simple pill, I wish there was! Addiction is a complex condition... we need to view it simultaneously from various angles. Addiction is something that has a process where a behavior can function to produce pleasure and provide escape from internal discomfort.

Addiction doesn't have to be triggered by a substance. It can be a technology, a habit, or even a person!

Even the most harmless things could begin too harm you. Too much of anything isn't good, and an addiction to it is harming you.
