Kids as young as 5 are getting schooled in drug education around the nation. It covers everything from safety and rules in medication, prescribed drugs, through the effects of tobacco, alcohol and solvents, as well as how they can resist peer pressure. I think this is a great idea, because if kids aren't getting these talks at home, at least they'll get the right influence at school.

That's a really good step forward in schools, I can't remember getting any drug talks at home, and we didn't have D.A.R.E until sixth grade. It was a really good program though, but I say the sooner the better!
