New Child Porn Law

Today, the Supreme Court passed a new law, which will make it a crime to even send messages using the computer that “offer or seek child pornography, even when no such pornography exists.” There is still debate whether it is a violating the 1st amendment of free speech and that it is too broad, but even if it were to violate free speech, they shouldn’t be talking to a minor in the first place let alone about pornography.

I agree completely, I want to feel like my kids will be protected and this law helps reinforce that.  We shouldn't be giving any opportunities whatsoever to these predators.  There's more sites coming up each day and kids need to feel protected too.  I remember when I was in seventh grade, AIM was really popular and there was one guy who kept messaging me and seemed nice at first but then wanted to meet up and started saying gross things, I felt so harrassed and told him to leave me the heck alone or I would call the police.  He stopped, but I'm sure he's out there still.
