I once went to my high school councelor for a meeting and some how ended up talking to him about my personal life. I had so many problems that I seemed utterly hopeless. And instead of teling me he was going to talk to my teachers and tell them to go easy on me (like I hoped) he asked me if I believed in God. I told him I did, and he gave me the best advice, he told me to just leave everything in Gods hands. I argued about this and told that I cant just do that I cant just make God do all the work for me, I have to do something too. And he just said no, and to just leave it all in his hands and that I shouldn't do anything. And I did. I stopped trying to make things better or worse, I left it neutral and God untangled all my problems. I trully believe thats the best advice I have ever recieved, even though it was so simple.

I love hearing people's testimonies.  That's great that you decided to give everything to God, I'm sure you feel so much better now.  When I finally decided to give my life to God, I felt this inner peace like I never had to worry about things again.  I used to lose sleep at night because I'd stress about absolutely everything.  Now I pray about everything and truly know in my heart that God will take care of me.

When I was younger I didn't leave everything to God, I believed in him but never really gave much thought to him helping me much. When I was 16 I was surrounded by more relgiious people and all the things they told me and the religious stories I heard were all so nice. I loved hearing them. I started really believing in Gods work, I put all my problems in his hands, I stopped asking for so much and began thanking. Ever since then I just feel carefree. I can be in the worst situation ever but I really know that within just a little bit of time God will get me out of it.
