Remember that case in 2006 where a girl named Megan killed herself because of a fake user named "Josh" who was flirting with her and then tried to end things by saying the world would be a better palce without her and all along it was the mother from down the street? Well the case was on trial and the mother who made the MySpace account was indicted by a federal grand jury on one count of conspiracy and three counts of accessing protected computers without authorization to get information used to inflict emotional distress on the girl. The internet can be a bad place and so many people are addicted to it and a lot of people are getting hurt by it.

I feel like the Internet will only get worse before it gets better.  I feel the same about myspace.  I'm a young adult, and I've realize how pointless that website is.  It causes so much drama between people, even deaths.  This poor girl had no idea who she was really talking to, and that mother should show more sympathy for what she's done.  She caused the death of an innocent, poor little girl.  I think she should go to jail for a very long time so she can learn the severity of everything she's caused and also to show other people that myspace isn't a joke: it can really hurt people.
