Thousands of grandparents are still being given buckets of problems with so many people still addicted to meth. Their own children are in and out of rehab, leaving their kids at home unsupervised and uncared for. I think it's so honorable that these grandparents are taking on a parenting role, taking these kids to school, basically having kids all over again. Hopefully their own children can step it up and finally quit for the sake of their kids.

I think this is a better solution than the kids going into foster care. Once they're given to CPS, it's so hard to get out of the system. Aunts and uncles have been stepping up to take kids in too. I'm glad that some of my close friends were saved by family members because who knows where they would've ended up?
