Steve-O from “Jackass” pleaded innocent on Wednesday to a cocaine possession charge stemming from his March arrest in Hollywood. He is scheduled to return for a hearing on May 13. But outside the court room as he was signing autographs for people reporting for jury duty in unrelated cases, he told reporters, “I’ve been clean for 44 days.”
I read his blog on MySpace, it seems that he has had a pretty tough life. But kudos to Steve-O for being clean!! I support him and I’m hoping he stays clean forever.

I've always liked Steve-O, he was always my favorite guy on Jackass.  And it actually gives me more motivation seeing all that he's accomplished and how he's so determined.  He probably has a lot of friends that look up to him for the decisions he's making to stay sober. 

I wonder if after seeing him sober and matured yet still the same old Steve-O some of his friends whom he used to do drugs with would also want to quit. I know if I was one of his friends, he would be enough motivation for me to quit.
