I think I get what you're saying, but in my experience the table games were the most addictive.  I feel like if I lost, then I can probably win it back because I've played the game before and I'll come up with a strategy.  Also, you can play with a group of friends and compete, while it's fun to be the person with the most money.  But, in my opinion I can't stand the slot machines, there's no strategy, just pure luck.... whenever the machine decides to pay out I guess.
