It seems like all young celebrities end up having problems. I try and keep up with all the gossip and my kids help with that. I mean first it was Britney who was so innocent and now is dealing with so many problems. I was on AOL this morning and now Miley Cyrus has new pictures circulating on the web of her showing her bra to some guy and she’s on his lap. Hello, the girl is only 15 years old! She is supposed to be a Disney teen sensation and she is really ruining her image. One of my daughters watches her show every day, but now I’m not sure if I want her to.

these are types of things that every teenager goes through, except when its a celebrity the whole world finds out about it. I can name off a few girls in my high school who have sent nude photos to their boyfriends, and after they broke up those photos went to other boys as well, its just apart of the whole teenage ordeal. I think these celebrities are just normal people but the way the paparazzi exposes them makes them look so much worse. About Britney though, I think she really does have a mental problem.

I really hate what they're saying about Miley Cyrus. It was just a picture and she wasn't naked. Her back was showing but she was still dressed and her parents were in the room with her. They really are making her the new Britney and having the paparazzi out to get her also.

Well before any of the pics started coming out, the paparazzi was saying how good of a role model she was.  But after there were personal pictures of her showing her bra to a guy, and a girl that was suposedly Miley showing off some skin, this pic with Vanity Fair didn't mix well.  I do think she is too young to be such a big star, she's only 15 and I don't feel like she can handle the shoes she's trying to fill.  Even though she's only 15, a lot of girls are looking up to her, it's not right.

I really think they pin point a bit too much on her and its wrong. She's young. Especially at 15 thats when kids make most of their mistakes. I made my biggest mistakes when I was 15. And thats always the rebellious stage. We portray her as such an innocent girl but in all reality she is a normal teenager with the paparazzi on her butt telling the world about every wrong move she has made.

The thing that bothers me is, if you decide to be famous so young there will be consequences for her and she needs to live with them. When she took the role on the show Hannah Montana and started getting famous with her music, it is expect for young girls to look up to her and want to be just like her so when Miley screws up and starts lap dancing a guy at 15 years old what is that telling our children. It may be true that teens are rebelious as this age, but once you are famous you aren't a normal teenager and society makes them act like adults and they aren't and they aren't ready to be so famous so young.

It's up to the parents to regulate who their kids look up to.  My parents always told me how the real world is, what we do and say are so important.  They taught me to have character and always do what was the right thing.  Now, I see things with consequences.  Having a role model like miley cyrus isn't going to do anything for me.  I don't plan on being a pop star and even if I did, I would do things my way.  Kids need to be reinforced and have real role models.

my parents never regulated my role models but they did point out all their flaws. Like if they had a promiscous image and the people on TV talked about it, they would be all "would you want people saying these things about you", it never really worked on me though because all i'd reply with is "if I was that rich and famous why not??" But after I got older I kind of just grew out of that stage myself.

I went through different stages of role models, I think my first few were mary-kate and ashley, Britney Spears was in there at one point lol, Hilary Duff, now I consider Angelina Jolie one of them.  I like how she's such a strong person but sensitive too, and she's turned around her life so much.   Also I had a lot of really good teachers to look up to and my parents also.
