Are you a dog person or a cat person? Or both?

Are you a dog person or a cat person? Or both?

When it comes to pets, most of us tend to be divided into two categories: dog lovers or cat lovers.  A third category doesn't distinguish between them - the people in it like both.

I tend to be more of a dog person, even though I've owned a cat and happen to be a cat-sitter when it's necessary. Dogs tend to be more people-friendly...comes from their origins as pack animals and their long association with man.

Which species do you along with better....dogs or cats?

Hands down, I'm a dog person! They are so cute and get excited to see you. I want a dog, but I just don't feel like I have enough time for it right now in my life.

Me tooo.  I'm a total dog fenatic!  I just got a puppy, she's a pit bull (4 months) and the love of my life.  Her name's Marley and she's so incredibly smart and intuitive.  Dog's are so much more loyal and committed to their owners, I have a new best friend!  And a cat can't sit there and protect you, a dog would protect you till the death and never leave your side..

I love both dogs and cats. Dogs are so much fun to play with and you can have a blast with them. But I hate it when they lick me, I know a dogs tongue is cleaner than ours but I just get so grossed out. I feel that cats are more comforting animals than dogs. I have a cat and I swear everytime I'm down it's like she can sense it and she just sits next to me, it's like shes always there when I need her. So cats are more comforting but dogs are more energetic and fun to play with.

I like big dogs because you'll always have someone to hang out with.  Sometimes I'm at home between classes or I just want to take a break so I'll take my dog for a run or we'll go to the park for 20 minutes or so.  Yesterday I took my dog on a bike ride and I felt so great, it's the first time I've exercised in a while and we were both pooped at the end, but it was fun!
