How did you quit smoking? Is there a pill or something that is affordable to help me quit? I've tried the patches and gum and no luck with those. Please let me know whatever you have tried that has worked. I need to quit immediately!

First of all, you shouldn't say I need to "Quit Smoking."  Saying that is actually a trigger in your brain.  So, you should say I want to start "Breathing Free."  Second, get a strong support group.  Let all of your friends know about your decision so that they won't ask you for a cigarette or offer you one.  Change your environment: don't let people smoke in your house, get rid of all cigarettes/ashtrays in your home, car, and work.  Also review your last attempt to quit, what made you start again?  And last, once you set a date and quit, don't smoke!  Not even a puff!  LOL

Ask your doctor about pills. And talk to him about quitting also. But once you set your mind to it just do it and dont let anything get in the way. Dont let your mind tell you that just one cigg is alright because its not, one leads to too many.

Keep reminding yourself how great of a decision you're making.  And keep a positive attitude about it, and forget about everything that drove you to smoking in the first place.
