What keeps you up at night when you don't want to be up?

What keeps you up at night when you don't want to be up?

I haven't been sleeping well as of late; I try very hard to go to bed at a decent, before midnight hour and all I end up doing is staying awake all night.  Of course, during the day I am tired and almost like a zombie, which makes it difficult for me at work.

I think the fact that the economy seems to be sliding into a recession and rising prices at the gas pumps and grocery stores have got me worried, even scared.

Anyone else?

Aspergers syndrome and hallucinations. The AS makes it hard to fall asleep, and the hallucinations make me sit up and say "The Hell!?". Good thing I can get by on hardly any sleep these days.

There are several different physical and physiological reasons that make it where people just can't sleep. Have you talked to your doctor about this?

something could be subcauntiously bothering you too. That happens to me. I'll get mad about something during the day and then get over it but it bothered me so much that I stay bothered over it and then I just can't sleep. Even though I wont be constantly thinking about it.

Nah, always been like that, and I have a pretty comfortable life now that my next-to-useless family is out of the picture. Nothing bothers me, got everything I need and enough cash to take up real estate. It's just my nature.

Oh, kinda off topic, but one thing I've learned about psychology; It's really hard to diagnose yourself.
