Is there a difference success rate of recovery between men and women? If so I wonder what determines that?

Men are more likely than women to report alcohol and drug abuse. However there hasn't been very much research done on the success rates. I hope they'd be about the same. I think it depends which recovery process you choose. Men and women might handle the 12- step process differently.
