Mrs.Ugly said: Antidepressants are the most prescribed drug in the world. They are “happiness pills”. But a study in the UK shows that these drugs actually do not work. They tested about six different antidepressants, including Prozac and Seroxat. They conducted a meta-analysis of all 47 clinical trials and submitted it to FDA. The results showed that the results were effective only in a very small group of the most extremely depressed. I don’t know I don’t really believe all this. Antidepressants have been used for so long and so many people that are on it do feel a lot happier so why is it just this study says that they don’t work? What do you guys think?
