I just posted up a story in the 'alcohol' section about a mother who provided alcohol to her 12 and 15 year old kids and their friends and threw parties with alcohol involved. You should read it its interesting! shes crazy!

I just read that. Wow shes crazy those kids are WAYY too young for that!!! And I cant imagine a parent encouraging that.

My cousin (who is only 15) was telling me a story very similar to this, and it is something happening right in front of him. His friends mother lets kids come over and drink and have parties in her house. Of course he won't tell me who the friend is, but says that the mom allows it because she would rather have her son drink in her home then out drinking, which she says he would do regardless. This is the most asynine thing I think I have heard in a while. Instead of being a real parent and keeping an eye on your child doing wrong, you allow it your own home.

I've heard this more often than I'd like. There used to be a mother locally that done this. We found out about it and she was turned in. She claimed that allowing the kids to drink at her house was saving their lives because if they weren't doing it there they would be doing it somewhere else and be in danger. Well in my opinion letting them drink at all is putting them in dange. I'd like to know how some of these peoples brains function!
