Keeping Busy is What Keeps me Going

I have been keeping myself quite busy with various things ranging from working out, playing sports, working (sometimes too much), and there are various other interests that have helped.

I have goals I set for each day, week, month or year and I try to focus on them. It was similar when I was recovering from Alcohol, I would set my goals and try to reach them the best I could.

I can't predict the future but I have a good idea where I want to be.

I think that's one of the best ways to beat an addiction... find other worthwhile pursuits and imerse yourself in them.

Keeping yourself busy is a great diversion for many people. I think that when you really want to stay away from something that some things can happen to make you feel you have no choice, but you do have choices.

Having our goals written on paper helps tremendously. It means we have definitive goals and serious about achieving them ,however big they may be.We don't have a crystal ball ,but breaking down the gigabytes to kilobytes and bytes ,makes it easier to climb the ladder without having to worry about our ultimate destination. It's how we shape our today that decides what our tomorrow will hold.
