I am glad that I found this place. Already it feels like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. My last couple of nights, although I have had a drink or two, it has been just that. More under control and responsible although it hasn't exactly been pleasant....

I know that I have to see someone now and I have an appointment with my doctor in a few days. The future is looking up.

It sounds like you are heading in the right direction. Take your doctors advice serioulsy and do what I tell everyone new to recovery - get to a meeting soon. You don't have to speak, you can learn a lot just by listening. Most important you will learn you are not alone and their are so many people out there who want to help you. Keep going in the directio you've started. Believe the rewards of recovery are well worth the effort.

Glad that it has been good for you. It is always good when you can find a place to go and learn and share your experiences and successes with other people. good luck and keep coming and seeing what you can do for others and what help you can get.

I'm glad you've found this place also. I know I have found it to be a great help. I don't think I realized how much help I needed or how lonely I've been until I found this place and began posting and reading others' posts. All I can advise is to continue with this forum and possbily look for other help as well.

Yeah I felt different too after finding this site, it can be really endearing and its nice to hear other people's opinions about all topics about addiction. I think it'll turn out to be a great success!

That is great news that you are able to move on and be a responsible drinker. Just make sure you don't push the limit and you will be successful!
