It is good to say no to drugs. My friends son has some friends that do alot of drugs and they seem to all have a good time out when together. However one of the boys has become addicted. It is changing his life. He can not go for a night out without any drugs. This boy had absteined from drugs and was the last in the group to try them after alot of pressure from his so called mates. They have disserted him now and my son is the only one that talks to him and bless her son was the one who suggested that they went to FRANK together.
They no longer see the people who put them under pressure to take drugs and both are on the road to a drug free excistence.

Peers play a big part in teen addiction. Most only do it to impress the people they are with. It's good that your son has a heart and wants to stick by this kid and hopefully help him with his problem. I wish him well.

It is very important that our children know how to choose the right type of friends. The wrong types would only lead them to bad habits and worse, addictions. The way parents bring their children up is a big factor when it comes to this matter.

When you're younger and you can't choose your friends so easily because
you're stuck with a peer group at school / college, it's a lot harder
to resist peer pressure. At least as an adult you have more
possibilities for ways to make friends, and losing the friends you do
have because they are going in a different direction in life is not as
intimidating.

I agree. Your friends are not very good frineds if you are using becuase of them. You are better off without them.
