My wife says I probably came into this world with a remote in my hand. Whenever I am not doing anything else I am sitting before the big screen. She, my wife, says that no one can ever speak to me since I am all absorbed into my television programs.

For me TV is my escape from all the nagging and noise.

swimming is my escape, i guess thats a little healthier. just make sure you dont eat while you watch TV or else you'll get fat.

I agree with you howard eating and sitting are not very good mixture are they. So you like swimming? Where do you like to go swimming. Do you have a pool at your house? I must let go of my drink before I can swim..

Does this keep you from having a healthy relationship with your wife? I think it's fine to use something as an escape as long as it's a healthy amount and not dangerous to your personal health (such as eating all the time while you're watching TV). Think about this: is it in ANY way hurting you or those close to you?

You better take it easy on the TV man , some times you need to take to yuor wife also , do you know that , also no friend also hide behind the TV from there wifes , but don't worry I will not tell your wife
