Are you superstitious?

I'm quite superstitious myself, despite having excellent scientific knowledge and not being religious at all. One of my biggest superstitions is that it's bad luck to have someones usual chair at the table if they can't be there for dinner. So yeah, I stick it elsewhere.

It originates from a tradition of not sitting in the usual spot of a recently-deceased person.

I do not have excellent scientific knowledge but I am quite superstitious, but these are things that I have learned from my parents and all from tradition and nothing else which I think most people just learn from being a child, things like do not walk under a ladder as it will cause bad luck as will walking over 3 drains. If I actually thought about it I could probably list loads from tradition.
